WHY RESISTANCE COFFEE?
We’re Muskoka’s local outpost of Resistance Coffee Co. based in Huntsville, Ontario. We love Muskoka—its natural beauty, small-town charm, tight-nit communities and salt-of-the-earth people make us proud to call Muskoka home!
We also love fresh-roasted coffee. And we love true freedom even more.
Resistance Coffee Company has always upheld the values of limited government, human dignity, personal responsibility, the traditional family, the rule of law, and the supremacy of God. In short, we stand on the historic values that this great country was founded on—values that are now under siege.
We believe that resistance to tyranny is obedience to God, and our duty to our fellow man. So, we’re doing our small part here in Muskoka by holding the line wherever faithfulness requires it, and by fuelling the resistance with our fresh-roasted, specialty coffee.
So, if you love the True North and want to see it continue to be strong and free—Resistance Coffee is here to keep you caffeinated for the long haul.

Fossil Fuel | DARK ROAST ($20)
Throughout history, society has had to grapple with some of life’s most urgent questions:
“Who will throw paint on our priceless art? Who will obstruct our medical transport vehicles? Who will keep us in a constant state of false-alarm and self-loathing? Who will champion the cause of unreliable, expensive energy? Who will bravely maintain double-lives of private decadence and public conscientiousness?”
Here at Resistance, we like to keep things simple, which mostly means not wasting smart answers on stupid questions. We may not be experts, but we’re pretty sure cheap fuel means greater flourishing for all—even us unsubsidized plebs.
- Origin: Brazil-Columbia Blend
- Notes: Dark Chocolate, Toasted Almonds, Vanilla & Pear
- Process: Natural/Washed
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This dark roast/espresso is a blend of Brazilian and Colombian specialty-grade beans. If you enjoy a bold flavour, without the bitterness, this one’s for you. Feel free to add cream and sweetener with your coffee (we won’t judge). But you won’t need it. This dark is smooth enough to enjoy black without compelling you to drown it in cream.

Strong & Free | DARK ROAST ($20)
There was a time when Canada was truly strong and free. We carved railroads through mountains. We weathered harsh winters and made a way in the untamed wild. We farmed the prairies and fished the coast. We shattered skulls in 1812, took Vimy Ridge, and liberated the Netherlands.
We invented a national sport involving skating (and fighting) on ice. We valued truth, the rule of law, the supremacy of God, and the dignity of each individual.
Our flag was a dignified red and white (only). Sadly, much has been lost. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Not if we have our say.
Here’s a roast for the old Canada – to a North truly strong and free. To the truth that gives us freedom, and the strength that helps us keep it.
- Origin: Peru
- Notes: Smooth, Milk Chocolate, Maple
- Process: Natural/washed, Organic
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This specialty-grade, single-origin organic roast is full-bodied, rich, and chocolatey. A splash of real Canadian maple syrup will bring out the subtle but delicious maple notes as well.

Home & Hearth | LIGHT ROAST ($20)
There’s a time to scorch the earth, and a time to man the hearth.
There’s a time to fix bayonets and take the hill, and a time to plant the runner beans and just fix the dang lawn mower already.
Here’s a brew for the builders, the growers, and the gardeners. For the homemakers fuelling the haymakers.
For the ones who keep our fires stoked, our minds sharp, and our hearts soft.
Because if there’s no feast to come home to – what are we fighting for anyway?
- Origin: Sidamo, Ethiopia
- Notes: Melon, Red Berry, Orange
- Process: Washed
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This specialty-grade, single-origin light roast from Ethiopia is a juicy, clean, delicious, fruit-forward cup.

Empty Promises | MEDIUM DECAF ($20)
At Resistance, we try to avoid making promises we cant keep.
Canadian politicians on the other hand? We’re pretty convinced it’s their main export.
Stable interest rates? – Affordable real estate? – Safer communities? – All emptier than the House of Commons during summer break.
Our promise to you? Sure, there may not be enough caffeine in this bag to wake-up a house cat, but that doesn’t mean it has to be any less delicious.
- Origin: Mexico
- Notes: Dark Chocolate, Graham Cracker, Red Fruit
- Process: Decaf/Washed
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This single-origin, specialty-grade decaf from Mexico is a warm and chocolatey medium roast, and has everything but the caffeine.

Trigger Happy | MEDIUM ROAST ($20)
Trying to have a conversation without offending someone these days is like trying to tiptoe through a minefield without getting your legs blown off.
Some folks try to step a little lighter. At Resistance, we’re putting on our combat boots and going full-auto with facts.
It’s not just that we enjoy seeing woke zealots weep. It’s not just that we like watching virtue-signalers deflate like a birthday balloon. It’s not even just that we get a kick out of watching the kazoo-wielding cancel police trip over their own shoelaces.
It’s that lies hurt people – and were pretty sure some straight talk might be just what the doctor ordered.
- Origin: Minhas Gerais, Brazil
- Notes: Dark Chocolate and Almonds
- Process: Washed
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This specialty-grade, single-origin medium roast from Brazil is a smooth and balanced cup, with nutty, chocolate notes.

Mischief Makers | MEDIUM ROAST ($20)
In Canada we’ve got three kinds of criminals. First, there are the actual criminals. These we release back into the general population as soon as possible. Next are the “professional” class of criminals. These wear parliamentary attire and are currently in the midst of making Canada third-world again.
Finally we have the imagined criminals, of the kind who build snow barricades and jump in bouncy castles. These we grind to powder in the gears of bureaucratic machinery.
Here’s a roast for the last crowd: the dissidents, the outlaws, and the prisoners of conscience. Because when good is called evil – do you really want your hands clean?
- Origin: Brazil-Ethiopia Blend
- Notes: Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, Roasted Almonds, Melon
- Process: Natural/Washed
- Whole Bean Coffee (340g)
Tasting Notes
This medium roast is a blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian specialty-grade coffee. We wanted to combine the chocolate and nutty notes of the Brazil with the fresh and fruit-forward notes of the Ethiopian. The result is a more complex but balanced cup.

Dear King Charles,

Diversity in itself isn't a virtue, a value, or a "strength."
Having two professional bowlers, a welder, and a veterinary technician on your olympic swimming team may mean you have a diverse team.
It doesn't mean you have a strong team.
Whenever a politician says, "Nothing is off the table," understand they only have about three terrible options on the table, and they're about to choose the worst one.

We should make a counter-roast -- in honour of all the voters who did their part to ensure Canada remains the national equivalent of a braindead goat for years to come.

Democracy is only as successful as:

1. The presence of effective checks and balances, which include parliament, the courts, impartial officials, media, and civil society.
2. The degree to which the governed fear God, and love their neighbor as themselves.
